What I've Been Up To

Since my last post I have done a few other makeups without the walkthrough, just an end product due to the fact that I haven't had access to a decent camera. I haven't wanted to post those without a walkthrough but seeing as its been so long, I wanted to just post what I've been up to.

The looks I did without walkthroughs are Dolph Ziggler, CM Punk, Christian and Alberto Del Rio.

Dolph Ziggler

CM Punk

Christian

Alberto Del Rio\

That's all I've got for now. I will eventually do these looks again as individual posts but I'm going to focus on my nature inspired blog for a while. Please feel free to check out what I've got going on over there, I'm doing a National Flowers Series at the moment.

More WWE posts are to come though, so check in every now and then!

Zack Ryder

I suppose the correct term for this makeup would be a Broskette makeup? Anyhow, I was really excited about this look because it was the only one that didn't have any black in it. Black seems to be a very common theme in the WWE.

This is one of the more toned down looks I've done, mainly because the purples I had to work with were unsatisfactory, I think I may end up redoing this look but for now lets work with what we've got.

This was my inspiration.

And this is what I came up with.
Like I said, its very toned down and upon looking over them again, I will definitely redo this look for something a bit more loud.
To begin, concealer and powder foundation routine(I will post that tutorial tomorrow)

On the eye I used a blend of these oranges from the Coastal Scents 78 Palette as a base on my lids.

I used this lighter purple on the outer third of my eyes and blended it in toward the center.

Now go in with this darker purple in the crease.

At this point I use and angled brush with the same dark purple to bring it down toward the inner corner of my and and around the outer corner and along my lower lash line.

Use the same orange you used on your lid and dab it around the inner corners of your eyes.

I decided that I wanted a bit more colour so I went back with this daker orange on the center of my lid.

Now line the eye with a black creme liner, I added wings for a cat eye effect and apply mascara(which I did for once)

                        Now for the lips!

I lined them with the dark purple I used on my crease, and slowly feathered that inward. I switched over the the lighter purple on the inside, then I took an orange lipstick and dabbed that onto the center of my lips, patting some of the dark orange I used on my lid on top.

The lipstick I used:

This is the result.

         The look is complete.

Kofi Kingston

For Kofi, I wanted to bring in some green and yellow because he seems to wear those a lot and has had about a million different ring gear styles, I'm actually not sure if the man ever wears the same thing twice.

This is the photo I used for my inspiration
Now before beginning I just want to say that to the best of my knowledge Kofi is from Ghana, yet he he seems to be sporting the Jamaican flag, albeit sideways. Anyhow, this is what I based this makeup off.

I actually couldn't make up my mind about the lips so I'll post both options, with and without lining them.
 Without lining

With liner

Let's start.

As you probably know by now, begin by using concealer on any blemishes and then following that with a powder foundation, I use True Match by L'Oreal.

Start by using a sunny yellow all over the lid. I used this one from the Coastal Scents 78 Palette.

It should look something like this
Now to bring in the green, I mixed these 3 to achieve the green I was looking for(in the future I'm going to invest in a brighter, grassier green)
I used the green on the inner corners of my eyes and blended that into the yellow like this. I also brought the green around the inner corner and to the bottom lash line.

Now use this black on the crease, I didn't extend the black above my crease much for this look because I really want the green and yellow to be the focal colours. Bring the black down below your lower lash line too.

Using an angled brush and the same black as before, define that line and bring it down toward the inner corner of your eye.

Now with a black creme liner, line your lid. And apply mascara (which I seem to forget a lot).

Now for lips!

This is what I did and I will explain the order.
First I put some Udderly Smooth moisturizer on my lips because I have really chapped lips, then I took my black creme liner and lined the cupid's bow of my upper lip, then tried to match the tip of that to make a small triangle on my lower lip. You can use a q-tip with water and baby wash to fix any mistakes.

Second, using the same yellow you used on your lids and with an angled brush outline the black liner.

Thirdly, fill in the rest with the same green you used on your eyes.

At this point I decided it wasn't as defined as I'd like it to be(if you have brighter, bolder pigmented eye shadows or lipsticks, you may not need to do this) I used my creme liner to define the line between the yellow and green.

If you decide not to line your lips, your look is complete!

Now if you decide to line your lips, do so with whatever colour you like, I used black because you know I like my lips to be bold.
